RE: "The Distance" Available for Download at iTunes
I have to say I am happy that i tunes is allowing a download of just "yes we can".

Now I have never used i tunes and I don't have an ipod. So I am wondering if it is worth downloading it. Would I be able to play it just like any other MP3?

I know they were going to a non-proprietary file format (meaning non-iPod users like myself can use it). Not sure if they have done so yet. I was going to find that out when I tried to download "Yes We Can" tonight.

Corrupted? I got the whole album last night at itunes (which I am not used to and know nothing about). It plays fine. I'm listening now and Seven Mile Breakdown seems fine. Wonder what corruption means and how it happened? Does this mean that mine is corrupted too?

"Yes We Can" is totally DRM free and I had no problem converting it from Apple's m4a format to MP3 just now.

Also, had no problem with any of the album files, so I think it's an isolated problem. But they're pretty good about fixing stuff quickly!

I don't know what they mean by corrupted......but I purchased the whole album.......and Seven Mile Breakdown would not download.......says the file is corrupted.......and it still won't download. My account is showing me with one download incomplete, but when I try to download it it says it can't be downloaded. The rest of the songs are fine. Just Seven Mile Breakdown.

RE: "The Distance" Available for Download at iTunes
I got an email back from iTunes with instructions - all of which failed miserably - such a waste of time.

I have the song....Angel.....but it's the principle of the thing.....I paid them for that song and I can't get it from them. That's what pisses me off.

My son had a similar problem when he purchased a single song. They took the money out of his account and then the download failed.

Oh well. It irks me, but oh well. I'll get over it. Haha

RE: "The Distance" Available for Download at iTunes
I had an I-Tunes download foul-up. Emailed them. Got instructions back and fixed it in a blink.

BTW---My TARGET album does NOT have an extra song. Just 11 and "Woman's Gotta Have It" is the last. Bummer.
