ROBERT RANDOLPH & THE FAMILY BAND tampoco se quedaron atrás.

Taylor Hicks, the winner of AMERICAN IDOL, who plays the gun ³ ³ ³ nica and singing along to a few paragraphs RANDOLPH and yours. It is important to influence the fact that Hicks's attitude was very discreet, and that n º ning time gave the impression of wanting to monopolize most of what s correspondÃa. I Could Win A Date With Taylor!!!!!

Taylor Hicks that is. Do you know who he is? If you don't, than you must have been living under a rock during season 5 of American Idol. He's only the dreamiest guy the puppy has ever glomped eyeballs on!

That silver-haired soul man is my idea of the ideal date. And, as it so happens, Live With Regis And Kelly are offering peeps a chance to win a date with Taylor. All you gotta do is register and write why you think you would make a good date for Taylor. Simple, eh? You can find the details here.

Now, you know I would be all over this like Scooby Doo on a Scooby snack, right? Of course I would. HOWEVER, there are a few things that stand in the puppy's way, such as: 1. No passport. The puppy would have to travel to NYC, from Canada, so not having a passport is a HUGE impediment. 2. The puppy is camera-shy. If I won, I would probably have to go on TV and that is a big puppy no-no. Just one of my (many) hang-ups. 3. It's a US contest so it probably excludes Canucks anyway. Most US contests do. That sucks, but what can you do? Finally, and very importantly: 5. The site won't let me register anyway. So there! Even without all the other problems, I wouldn't have gotten a paw in the door anyway cuz the site is prejudiced against puppies!

In case you were wondering, here's the essay I would have entered:

Hi, my name is Meribah the puppy dog, I live on an island in the sea, and you are going to love me! Why am I your perfect date, you might ask? Well, I might be a dog, but I'm no dawg, if you get my drift. I am soooooo very cute, with my big, blue puppy dog eyes, long fluffy brown and white coat, and big furry tail. Once you get a look at me, you will want to pet my fuzzy puppy belly all day long!
BUT in case you think I'm all looks and no substance, I will also tell you that I am a very smart puppy. After all, I am related to collies which are very smart, and, while I may have the beagle nose (sniffing around all the time), I have the collie brain. If you are looking for a career-oriented person, than look no further cuz there is no dog with a greater work ethic than a collie. You want me to guard sheep? I'll do that! You want me to guard your home? I'll do that too! You want me to guard you? Oh, you better believe I'll do that! I'll bite the onion of anyone who tries to mess with you!
If you want somebody who is laid back and can have fun, well, you've come to the right place. I'm the most fun-loving puppy around! I'm up for long walks in the park, running around and playing Frisbee. I'll even accompany you while you play golf and fetch your balls for you, maybe even before they reach the hole! If you don't want me to do that, it's fine. I will try to curb my desire to chase things while you play, even though it will be really hard.
I'll even go with you when you go scuba diving, although I will probably spend most of my time swimming around topside, whining and worrying that you will drown and, when you come back to the surface, I will drag you back to shore and safety. That's just the way I am.
Also, I am totally loyal, loving and dedicated. I will not get jealous if you spend time with other dogs...okay, maybe a little, but I'll still love you anyway! I'm non-judgmental and a very good listener. At the end of the day, you'll be glad you have me.

Hell, if he lost his balls, there would be much pushing and shoving and other ugly things by those of us trying to find them for him. Haha

I went to see Greace at the Hippodrome in Baltimore last night! It was so much fun and I’ve been singing show tunes in my head all day; holding back from verbal outbursts in order to escape humiliation from the coworkers. DO BOP SHEWADA WADA DIPPITY DOOP DEE DO! The highlight of the show was when American Idol runner up Taylor Hicks played Teen Angel and sang “Beauty School Drop Out”. He popped out of a giant ice cream cone, it was a real ‘treat’. At the end of the show, he sang his new single “What’s Right is Right”. I’ve never been a big fan of American Idol, so I didn’t follow his progress. In comparison to his newly released album, hearing him sing live is much better. He puts more emotion into the lyrics and his voice doesn’t sound so mainstream. But that is just my opinion. His new song is definitely worth listening to. You can hear it for free on http://www.myspace.com/taylorhicks .
